Woman, 33, found dead inside Near West Side home

CHICAGO - A death investigation has been launched after a 33-year-old woman was found dead inside a residence Wednesday night on the Near West Side.

Police officers found the woman unresponsive with head trauma around 8 p.m. inside a home in the 15000 block of West Warren Boulevard, according to CPD. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner's office has not yet released her identity.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
