Chicago Bulls' guard Ayo Dosunmu to miss over a week with leg injury
CHICAGO - The Chicago Bulls will be without one of their starters for at least a week, and maybe even longer.
The Bulls announced Saturday that guard Ayo Dosunmu will miss 10 days with a calf strain suffered on Dec. 23 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
So far this season, Dosunmu has averaged 12.6 points and 4.8 assists per game in 30 games and 17 starts.
In December, though, the Morgan Park alumnus has shown improvement as a distributor. He's averaged over six assists per game in the past five games and has recorded 11 assists in two games in December.
In a win over the Spurs on Dec. 6, Dosunmu scored 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished 11 assists for his first career triple-double.
The Bulls also announced they've signed Emanuel Miller to a two-way contract and waived DJ Steward.
