Two teens are accused of leading police on high-speed chases in two different incidents in DuPage County this week, while a third teen, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, is accused of kicking and spitting at officers during his arrest.

"The allegations that a fourteen-year-old boy, two years away from even taking his driver’s test, led police on a high-speed chase is extremely disturbing," said DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin.

Police tried to pull him over, officers said, but he ignored their lights and ran “multiple" stop signs, reaching 58 mph in a 25 mph zone. Soon, he crashed into a fire hydrant, police said.

School Staff was notified of the alleged threat and the Carol Stream Police Department was contacted.

The victim of an alleged battery was returning to his vehicle in the parking lot of the Carol Stream Police Department when a verbal altercation ensued between the victim and a friend of the defendant in the battery case. While exchanging words, Nicolas Mayfield allegedly told the victim, “I'll kill you right here,” while gesturing his waistband — insinuating he had a gun.

A Carol Stream man was sentenced to four years in prison for extorting lewd images from a minor.

The DuPage County State's Attorney said that on June 4, Danley approached two people "preaching the Gospel" near picnic benches in Carol Stream. One man agreed to give Danley a ride.

“The allegations against these two juveniles are outrageous,” said DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin. “Not only did these two juveniles allegedly hijack a man’s car at gunpoint, they proceeded to lead the police on a high-speed chase at speeds nearing 140 mph, then abandoned the car and fled on foot in a crowded park while armed with a deadly weapon."

'CARELESS INDIVIDUALS': Jimmy Calan and a 16-year-old juvenile allegedly threw a rock at a sliding glass door. When an occupant of the residence opened the sliding glass door, Calan and the juvenile allegedly opened fire.
