BP Refinery in Whiting hit with $40M fine

BP's Whiting oil refinery on the Indiana shoreline of Lake Michigan has been ordered to pay $40 million fine for pollution violations. The refinery must also install nearly $200 million worth of new technology to control future environmental contaminations.
