Illinois man sentenced to 5 years after speeding away with Iowa cop clinging to his car

An Illinois man who pleaded guilty to serious injury by vehicle after he injured a Carroll officer in 2021 has been sentenced to five years in prison. Dennis Guider Jr., 29, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, received the sentence on Thursday after submitting a guilty plea in March.
