Pope Leo XIV's roots in Roseland: Mother was librarian, he began his teaching career

Pope Leo XIV's mother was a librarian at Mendel Catholic High School in the Roseland neighborhood, where her son also taught at one point. According to the Mendel Alumni Association, Pope Leo also started his teaching career there.
