Chicago weather: Cloud and wet Sunday, colder temps on the way

CHICAGO - Expect a cloudy, windy, and wet day in the Chicago area today in the morning and into the afternoon.

There should be about an inch of rain in most of the area, but parts of Northwest Indiana could see as much as 2 inches of rainfall.

There will be some sun but also clouds on Monday with mild temperatures remaining, but that will soon change. Monday is expected to be dry though.

Colder readings are on the horizon as we ring in the new year on Wednesday. High temperatures will only reach up into the 20s closer to the end of the week.
