Chicago weather: Dense fog early Sunday, then a warmup is ahead

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for much of the Chicago area until about noon today.

In some locations, there is poor visibility down to about a quarter-of-a-mile, but conditions will improve later in the afternoon.

There won't be much sunshine with cloudy conditions but temperatures will reach up into the 40s, above average for this time of year.

Monday is expected to be even warmer with temperatures increasing to about 51 degrees. There is a risk of rainfall in the morning, but that's more likely to occur outside of the city and the afternoon should be dry.

On Tuesday, the sunshine is expected to return with a high of 43 degrees.
