Chicago weather: No January thaw in sight
CHICAGO - The snow and freezing drizzle are gone, but the cold is not.
Today any early sunshine will fade behind a cloud deck moving in from the west. Highs will only be in the mid 20s.
Tomorrow will be similar with mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the 20s. On Thursday there should be a little more sunshine with high temperatures perhaps making it into the upper 20s.
Friday presents an opportunity for snow, not a big storm and it would favor the southern portion of the Chicago area.
Over the weekend, Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high not far from 30. I expect similar temperatures on Sunday, but there is another chance for light snow. Still no sign of a January thaw.
