41-year-old man shot during fight in Chicago

CHICAGO - A man was shot during a fight on Chicago's South Side Monday afternoon. 

At about 1:19 p.m., a 41-year-old man was in a fight with an unknown offender in the 8200 block of South Maryland Avenue when he was shot in his left leg, police said.

He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

No one is in custody. Area Two detectives are investigating.
