Auburn Gresham shooting: Man gunned down on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A man was killed in a shooting Wednesday night on Chicago's South Side.

Around 6:56 p.m., police say the male victim was in the 7700 block of S. Bishop St. when he sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

He was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
