Chicago Public Schools to purchase 100k laptops for remote learning

Chicago Public Schools are preparing for students that may return to remote learning.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, CPS is purchasing 100,000 laptops that could be used for remote instruction.

CPS officials say the move will help bring them a step closer to a one-device-per-student system.

However, the district says a full return to remote learning is unlikely.
