Chicago man remains at large after sexually assaulting minor, removing GPS tracker

The Cook County Sheriff's Office is warning the public of a man charged with sexually assaulting a minor who removed his electronic monitoring device and remains at-large.

Jorge Mondragon-Bahena was placed on electronic monitoring in October 2022 after being charged with sexual assault of a minor under the age of 13. In March 2023, he illegally removed his GPS tracker, violating the terms of his release, officials said.

Mondragon-Bahena goes under several aliases, including Oscar Flores and Wenceslao Mondragon. It is believed he may be working as a cook in a Chicago-area restaurant, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

Mondragon-Bahena's last known address was in the 3500 block of North Southport Avenue in the Lake View neighborhood.
