Man, 41, shot in Heart of Chicago

CHICAGO - A man was shot on the sidewalk Thursday morning in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood.

The 41-year-old was walking around 1 a.m. when a white sedan pulled up and someone inside started shooting in the 2300 block of South Wood Street, according to police.

The victim was struck in the foot and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
