Juvenile shot and wounded at Oak Forest gun range, police say it was an accident

OAK FOREST, Ill. - A juvenile was hit by a ricocheting bullet at a gun range in Oak Forest on Saturday afternoon.

Police said that the incident happened in the show room at Eagle Sport Range, 5900 W. 159th St.

The juvenile was with his father. He was hit in the abdomen. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The incident remains under investigation. Police said it looks like it was an accident.
