A man was killed and a woman was critically injured in a crash Sunday night on the Bishop Ford Expressway on the Far South Side.

At 9:51 p.m., 31-year-old Travis A. Shempert was driving a 2000 Chevrolet sedan on the right shoulder of northbound Interstate 94 near Beaubien Woods, which is just south of 130th Street, according to Illinois State Police.
