Gresham shooting leaves 32-year-old man wounded

CHICAGO - A man was shot in the chin while traveling in a car Sunday night in the Gresham neighborhood.

The 32-year-old was in a vehicle around 11 p.m. when gunfire broke out and struck him in the 8500 block of South Laflin Street, according to police.

The victim was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was listed in fair condition.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
