Man shows up at Chicago hospital shot in the chest: police

CHICAGO - A 34-year-old man showed up to Mount Sinai Hospital with serious injures Saturday morning.

Police say the victim self-transported to the hospital located on Chicago's West Side with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The victim was uncooperative with details and is listed in serious condition, officials say.

There is no one in custody and Area Four Detectives are investigating.
