Naperville home sustains $110K in damage from fire

A Naperville home was heavily damaged in a fire that broke out Wednesday night.

At around 7:44 p.m., the Naperville Emergency Communications Center received a call reporting a fire in an exterior shed at a home in the 300 block of Carriage Hill. While firefighters were en route, Naperville police on the scene reported flames and possible extension into the main structure.

Firefighters arrived at 7:48 p.m. to find smoke and fire at the residence. All occupants had evacuated before first responders arrived.

The fire was brought under control by 8:07 p.m. Firefighters remained on scene awaiting the arrival of a fire investigator.

Damage to the home is estimated at $110,000. No injuries were reported.
