Body found near shoreline at Rainbow Beach

CHICAGO - A body was found at Rainbow Beach on Chicago's South Side Wednesday morning. 

Chicago police said an unidentified male was found unresponsive near the shoreline in the 3100 block of East 71st Street at 6:56 a.m. 

The victim has not yet been identified. 

Area Two detectives launched a death investigation.
