Some Illinois school districts to reinstate student fees after 4-year waiver
CHICAGO - After four years, two suburban school districts are bringing back student fees.
They were waived at the start of the pandemic, but starting next year, they're returning.
The fees won't be as expensive as they were a few years ago. District 211 is charging $75, and for District 214, it's $350 per student.
The money will go toward clubs, book rentals, technology, and more.
