Man arrested after driving unauthorized car on to NASCAR Chicago track

CHICAGO - Chicago police said a man was arrested after he drove an unauthorized vehicle on to the NASCAR track.

The man was arrested in the 1200 block of South Dusable Lake Shore Drive in the Museum Campus area around 9 p.m.

The track was not in use at the time.

Preliminary information shows that he drove through a barrier, Chicago police said.
