Woman shot multiple times in Bronzeville alley

CHICAGO - A woman is in critical condition after being shot in a Bronzeville alley Monday night.

At about 7:43 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was in an alley in the 700 block of East 47th Street when she was shot multiple times in the body by an unknown offender, police said.

She was transported to an area hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.

Area Detectives continue to investigate.
